In the upper-left corner, under File > User Settings, clear the I-beam web V-groove during import.

Our equipment does not permit beveling the web of H-beams; therefore, it is mandatory to select the option to remove the existing bevel.

Additionally, when importing, you must check the “Positive Bevel Overlimit” option, as many models may have bevel angles exceeding 45 degrees; this setting must be adjusted to keep the angle below 45 degrees.

In addition, for groove plates, you need to enable the “Extend groove edge along the graphic direction to generate spatial leader lines” option; this also needs to be checked. Specifically, this setting is for identifying grooves—essentially, it applies when both the front and back sides of an H-beam web require marking.

You also need to select the advanced features for this structural steel section, then review the advanced parameters for the section and enable support for double-sided marking on the web of H-shaped steel. Finally, be sure to confirm the settings.
